Flight detail: to be advised Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide and transfer to your hotel. (check in time: 14.00hrs, early check in on request). From 13.00hrs: Our tour guide will pick you up at the hotel then your trip starts with Tran Quoc Pagoda, next, Ba Dinh Square and next, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mons & Fris, all afternoons and from Sep 10 until Dec 10 for annual maintenance, some years to be closed earlier, outside visit applied); an imposing monument lavishly built using marble and granite, and where the preserved body of “Uncle Ho” resides. A short walk from the mausoleum is the lotus-like shaped One Pillar Pagoda – resting on a single stone pillar emerging from the water. Inside is a statue of the Goddess of Mercy with its legendary “thousand arms and thousand eyes”. Wind your way afterwards to the Temple of Literature, the first University for the sons of mandarins, for an overview about Hanoi culture and ancient Vietnamese architecture. In the afternoon, visit the serene Museum of Ethnology is a 30-min drive out of town and offers a chance to get to know Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups better. Visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Dong Xuan Market get on a walking tour through the old quarter to enjoy the bustling local life. 18.00hrs transfer back to your hotel. Breakfast at the hotel 7.30Am: Embark on a 3 hours’ drive to Halong bay (D-car Limousine/Shuttle bus provided by Cruise) with a quick rest stop en route at a local house, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waters like dragons’ teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay, swim on a quite beach or sunbath on the deck. Later in the afternoon, visit a fishing village living in the bay for generations. Or other activities (depends on the cruise) At sunset, join a bamboo rowing sampan to discover a water tunnel with coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board for sunset and later unwind at the restaurant for dinner. Note: since there are many boats offering tours on Halong bay, the above tour description is for introduction purpose only. actual activity may vary due to suppliers and we will confirm the final itinerary when the specific boat is confirmed. Breakfast on Cruise. Wake up early to catch the dramatic sunrise on the bay and enjoy a Tai Chi demonstration on the sun deck. Relax with a cup of hot coffee before departing to the splendid Sung Sot grotto where stalactites hanging from the high ceiling take on numerous shapes and forms. Enjoy late brunch on board while cruising back to the boat docking station. Arrive at the boat docking station around 11:00am. Return to Hanoi capital. Breakfast at the hotel From 9.00AM: Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel, depart for Ba Na Hill through one of the most beautiful seaside streets of Central Vietnam. Arrive in Ba Na, you will have a chance to experience the two – UNESCO - record cable system up to the top of the hill and enjoy the beautiful sight of Mo stream, Toc Tien waterfall with the impressive dazzling white spume. Sightseeing on Ba Na Hill to: Hand of the gods hold Vietnam’s Golden Bridge. L’Jardin Zone with French Architecture Building: Tinh Tâm Garden, French Stable, one-hundred-year-old pomelo tree, Old Villas. Linh Ung Pagoda, 27 meters Buddha Statue, Loc Uyen Garden. Continue the tour with Fantasy Park – one of the most modern indoor game centers of the Asia. Go down by the cable system. Get on coach and return the city center around 17.30hrs.
